Back in action

Well now that we have finished Jeanniepolooza and Thanksgiving we can all get back to the important things in life, like blogging. I feel bad, cause it has been a while and I wanted to apologize. I have been busy.

So let's see what has happened:
1. Jeannie turned 26! The fishbowl devoted a week and a half to festivities. We saw the new Harry Potter in the I-max, and then went to Dave and Busters (huge bar/restaurant with tons of video games and a really good bar, or at least good drinks.)
2. We hosted my family for Thanksgiving for the second time. There were no NEGATIVE comments by my mom, which was a miracle unto itself. It went so well. We had my parents, brother and his girlfriend, her parents, and of course the fishbowl was all in attendance so it was about 9 total. I cooked from 1pm Wed till we served at about 7:30 pm Thursday night.
3. I slept almost all day on Friday following Thanksgiving.
4. I have blown 2 hardrives at work in the past week and a half.
5. My wrist has been upgraded from Tendonitis to Carpeltunnel. Part of the reason for my decreased blogging :(

That is about it here in the bowl. We should all be posting more though now.

Quality Drunk Dialer Moments

DD: "I live with lesbians, see this is one (points at me), oh wait - feel her package (puts the queen's, The DRAG QUEEN's, hand on my croch) nice huh so but what I wanted to say was, I want to be a lesbian, I really really do, but I just can't give up the Penis."
Drag Queen at bar: "I know exactly what you mean honey"

Backstory:

Really this is not a misquote, it was one long slurred sentence. If you have seen DD once she has reached drunk point, you know the one.

Okay, on Halloween after everyone was gone around 11:30 (I like these grown up parties, you start earlier then people leave earlier and don't make a mess) we went to Le Buzz. It was just Me, DD, and Christinia (not pictured, because she took the pictures), because Ze Queen was still not feeling well. So we are at the bar, and DD decides it is time to "mingle." She drags me into one of the bar area's, which was a little cramped, and starts talking to random people. She talked to the Drag Queen with a southern accent and cascading blond hair when she said it.

Sorry it took so long

So this is me and Ze Queen. Don't I look good in a suit? I look like my little brother more than anything else. I was origanally going to be a Masher, but did not want to have to explain it to everyone so I just said I was in drag.

Bonus points for anyone who knows what a Masher is...Fritz you can't play...you read the book too.
